Refund policy

Custom-Made Digital Products

Every Heartune song is a one-of-a-kind digital creation, written from scratch based on your story and details. Because each song is custom-made for you and cannot be resold or reused, we do not offer refunds or returns once production has started or your song has been delivered.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that you understand and accept this policy.


Refunds Before Production Begins

If you change your mind, you can request a refund within 2 hours of placing your order, provided we haven't already started writing your lyrics.

To cover non-refundable payment processing fees (typically 3–5% depending on your card or payment method), all approved refunds are subject to a small deduction.

To request a pre-production refund, email hello@heartune.love with your order number as soon as possible.


Lyrics Revisions (Before Your Song Is Recorded)

Before we record your song, we send you the lyrics for review. This is the moment to make sure everything feels right.

  • You can request changes to the lyrics — different lines, different tone, different focus. We'll rewrite them once at no charge.
  • If you don't approve or reply within the lyrics review window, we'll go ahead and compose your song based on the lyrics we sent.

Song Revisions (After Delivery)

We want your Heartune to feel perfect. Every order includes:

  • One free song revision within 5 days of delivery for small adjustments — a specific lyric tweak, a tempo change, or a different instrumental feel.

To request a revision, use the "Request an Edit" button on your delivery page, or email hello@heartune.love within the 5-day window.

Revision requests after the 5-day window may be accommodated at our discretion or at additional cost.


Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds cannot be issued for:

  • Orders where production has already begun (lyrics written or song composed)
  • Songs that have already been delivered
  • Subjective preference reasons — for example, "it's not what I expected," "I changed my mind," or the recipient didn't react the way you hoped
  • Mistakes in the personalization details you provided at checkout (please double-check your story and recipient name before submitting)
  • Failure to check spam folders or update your email address

Technical Issues

If your song file is corrupted, won't play, or you can't access your delivery page, please email hello@heartune.love right away. We'll resend or re-host your file at no charge — these are technical issues, not refund matters.


Chargebacks

We work hard to make every customer happy. If you're unhappy with your order, please contact us first at hello@heartune.love before disputing the charge with your bank. Most issues can be resolved quickly through revision or direct support. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may be contested with documentation of your order and our delivery.
